Elevate Business Photography recently had the opportunity to photograph the Antero Foundation's annual fundraising golf tournament at Omni Interlocken Golf Club in Broomfield, Colorado. With clear skies, beautiful mountain views of the Flatirons, and perfect golfing weather, the event brought together employees, partners, and supporters for a day of friendly competition, great food, and fundraising for an important cause.
The Antero Foundation, a joint initiative of Antero Resources and Antero Midstream, is dedicated to strengthening the communities where they operate. Through charitable giving and employee volunteerism, the Foundation supports organizations and local initiatives that help build thriving communities throughout their regions of operation.
Capturing the Energy of the Day
Golf tournaments are always enjoyable events to photograph because they naturally create opportunities for genuine interactions. Throughout the day we documented golfers checking in, networking before and after the round, enjoying the course, and celebrating together between holes.
One of the highlights was the Best Dressed Team competition, where participants embraced the opportunity to have some fun with creative outfits. The “tiger” team definitely won! These lighthearted moments always become some of the most memorable photographs from the day and help capture the personality of the event.
Fun Competitions Beyond the Scorecard
In addition to the golf itself, participants competed in several entertaining contests throughout the tournament. One of the most memorable was the Shortest Drive competition, proving that not every golf prize is awarded for perfection. It was a great reminder that fundraising tournaments are just as much about creating an enjoyable experience as they are about the final scores.
After spending the day on the course, guests gathered to enjoy excellent food while reconnecting with friends and colleagues. These moments around the clubhouse often produce some of the strongest storytelling images because they highlight the relationships and community that make charity events successful.
